# Welcome to Lumache's documentation!

**Lumache** (/lu\'make/) is a Python library for cooks and food lovers
that creates recipes mixing random ingredients. It pulls data from the
[Open Food Facts database](https://world.openfoodfacts.org/) and offers
a *simple* and *intuitive* API.
